Paper noodle boxes and tubs hold the portion, present the food and carry your brand in a single container. Made from food-grade kraft or white paperboard with single or double PE coating, they hold up for hot, oily and saucy dishes.

Two structures cover most takeaway menus — choose the format that fits how you serve, carry and eat.

The classic takeaway noodle box — 6 stock sizes from 300 ml to 1000 ml. Compact and stackable for easy filling during busy service.

Round-bottom tubs are often used for fried rice, salads, saucy dishes and portioned hot meals. The wide opening makes filling fast and eating easy.
Board and coating decide two things: how your packaging looks on the shelf, and how it handles hot, oily food in real service. Get the combination right and the box holds up through delivery — get it wrong and print colours fall flat or the box softens before the meal is finished.

Final board and coating specifications are confirmed per project.
| Size | Top (mm) | Height (mm) | Bottom (mm) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 300 ml | 58 × 62 | 93 | 60 |
| 550 ml | 75 × 80 | 97 | 84 |
| 580 ml | 78 × 82 | 112 | 70 |
| 700 ml | 85 × 100 | 95 | 94.5 |
| 850 ml | 83 × 90 | 128 | 90 |
| 1000 ml | 85 × 90 | 142 | 90 |

Both formats come in the same boards, coatings and 300–1000 ml size range — the difference is structure: how food is packed, carried and eaten.

What you serve — tangled noodle dishes pack and travel well in square-bottom boxes; rice, salads and saucy combos are easier to fill and eat from a wide round tub.
How it is handled — the fold-top box closes over the food for carrying; the open tub gives the kitchen a wide mouth for fast filling during rush hours.
Portion sizes — both formats cover 300–1000 ml, so match the size to your standard portions rather than to the format.
Brand presentation — boxes offer tall side panels for logos; tubs offer a wide curved surface — both support full custom printing.
Operator tip: many takeaway shops stock both — square boxes for the noodle menu, round tubs for rice and salads — keeping one print design across both for a unified brand.

Noodle boxes are sold by volume — 300 to 1000 ml across six stock sizes. This guide explains how to read the sizes and match them to your dishes.
The ml rating is the brimful volume. In practice, kitchens fill to just below the rim so the fold-top can close properly and food stays put during delivery — always allow headspace when planning portions.
A wider top opening lets staff portion faster during rush hours. Round tubs and the wider square sizes (e.g. 85 × 100 mm) suit mixed dishes, rice and salads that are scooped rather than lifted.
Saucy noodle dishes need more headspace; dry fried rice packs denser. Typical starting points: 300–550 ml for sides and snacks, 550–700 ml for single-serve mains, 850–1000 ml for sharing and family portions.
Ordering tip: if one menu serves both noodles and rice, many buyers split the order — square boxes for noodles, round tubs for rice — instead of forcing one shape to do everything.
